This Twenty-Fifth Edition of Transportation Materials is published in two parts.  Part I contains specifications for materials, and Part II included methods of testing and specifications for testing equipment.  Part II contains 216 test methods and equipment standards, of which most contain both English and Metric units of measure.  Technical revisions were made in 47 of the specifications since the Twenty-Fourth Edition, 49 speicifcations were reconfirmed, and 5 specifications were added, 1 specification was editorially revised, 2 specifications were discontinued and 5 specifications were deleted.  A number of specifications were included in this publication at the request of the AASHTO Subcommittee on Bridges and Structures.
