This specification covers two types of launchers.
The launchers shall be furnished in the following types (see 6.3):
Type M239 - Launcher, Grenade, Smoke: Screening, RP, (TDPL13-12-32).
Type M250 - Launcher, Grenade, Smoke: Screening, RP, (TDPL13-12-122).
intended Use:
These items are intended for use as a vehicle mounted launcher for smoke grenades.
