This INTERIM Defence Standard specifies requirements for one grade of kerosene type aviation turbine fuel intended primarily for use in military aircraft gas turbine engines, which differs from F-35 only in respect of a manadatory requirement for Fuel System Icing Inhibitor (FSII), Lubricity Improver (LI) and Static Dissipater (SDA) additives. Fuel provided to this specification shall possess satisfactory performance and properties when used in appropriate aircraft or engines operated by the Crown.
