scope:

This notice applies to all members of the TEAM for the purposes of this notice, the TEAM comprises Naval Air Systems Command Headquarters (NAVAIRHQ), the Business Units (BU) and the NavaI Aviation Program Executive Officers (PEO) for: Air Anti-Submarine Warfare, Assault, and Special Mission Programs (PEO(A)); Tactical Aircraft Programs (PEO(T)); and Program Executive Office for Strike Weapons and Unmanned Aviation (PEO(W)). This notice will become effective at time of authentication.

Purpose. This notice directs the Naval Aviation Systems Team (TEAM) to initiate a process for the creation and management of Global Windows Internet Naming Service (WINS) to their Local Area Networks (LANs) including trust relationships with identified TEAM Network Technology (NT) domains.
