This Commercial Item Description (CID) covers the material, tools, and personal protective gear required for the fuel spill control kit. The fuel spill control kit is intended to contain and remove fuel spills and limit surface and ground water contamination.
Fuel spill control kits shall be classified (see 6.1) as follows:
Type I - Contains quantities required for use with hoseline outfit, fuel handling, 4-inch. Type II - Contains quantifies required for use with the fuel system supply point.
