scope:
Purpose. This regulation prescribes the policies, role, and responsibilities of the Internal Review (IR) Program within the Department of the Army (DA).
Applicability. This regulation applies to the Active Army (AA), the Army National Guard of the United States (ARNGUS), and the U.S. Army Reserve (USAR). The ARNGUS is a reserve component of the Army that maintains a dual state administered status, as the Army National Guard (ARNG). This regulation also applies to the ARNG, except as indicated herein.
