scope:
This specification covers the requirements for liquid oxygen quantity indicators. The indicators are of the capacitance type and indicate from 0 to 25 liters of liquid oxygen.
The indicators shall be of the following types, as specified (see 6.2):
GMU-28/A Cover glass coated with antireflection coating in accordance with MIL-C-675 GMU-28A/A Cover glass coated with high efficiency antireflection coating as defined herein.
intended Use:
The indicators covered by this specification are intended for use in indicating the quantity of liquid oxygen remaining in the converters in C-5A, C-130E, and C-141 airplanes.
