This specification covers one size of prefabricated, ready-cut, steel, trussless arch building complete with entrance tunnel, emergency exit structure, blast door, flap gate, interior steel doors and steel partitions, steel ladder, anchor bolts, endwalls, 1-inch diameter steel rods, clevises, turn buckles and eyebolts, base channels, connector angles and hardware, and all exhaust and air intake pipes and fittings. The prefabricated building shall be easily assembled.
intended Use:
The buildings are intended to be used as decontamination centers where up to 40 people can live in the event of nuclear attack.
