scope:

This Standard provides minimum requirements for laminated thermoset sheets intended for decorative purposes. The core of the sheet is paper, impregnated with a thermoset condensationresin and consolidated under heat and pressure of not less than 5 MPa. They are intended only for interior uses in such applications as counters and tabletops, furniture and cabinets, bathroom and kitchen work surfaces, desk tops, wall panelling, partitions, doors etc.

One or both sides of the laminated sheet have decorative colour or design except backing laminate which may have not decorative side.
