This European Standard specifies safety requirements for design and construction of self-propelled, and tractor-driven combine harvesters and forage harvesters. It describes methods for the elimination or reduction of hazards arising from the use of these machines. In addition, it specifies the type of information to be provided by the manufacturer on safe working practices. The environmental aspects have not been considered in this standard.
