This Standard applies to rigid conduit fabricated from mild steel, aluminum, copper, or copper-silicon alloy intended for use as a metal raceway for the installation of wires and cables in accordance with the Rules of the Canadian Electrical Code, Part I. In addition, it applies to couplings, nipples, elbows, and bends that are used in connection with the installation of the straight lengths of rigid conduit.
