This specification covers asbestos-cement perforated and plain pipe intended for use in the conveyance of drainage water for the subsurface drainage of highways, airports, farms, foundations, and other similar drainage work.

The text of this standard references notes and footnotes which provide explanatory material. These notes and footnotes (excluding those in tables and figures) shall not be considered as requirements of the standard.

Warning - Breathing of asbestos dust is hazardous. Asbestos and asbestos products present demonstrated health risks for users and for those with whom they come into contact.
