This Directive:
1. Applies to the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), the Military Departments, and the Defense Agencies (hereafter referred to collectively as "DoD Components").
2. Encompasses the physical properties included in the Defense Family Housing Property Account identified in reference (d), unaccompanied personnel housing, and temporary lodging facilities controlled by the Department of Defense.
