The Standard specifies a method for determining whether or not a paint, varnish, paint medium or related product, at a specified temperature between 0 and 105 degrees C and under the conditions of test, gives off sufficient flammable vapour at this temperature to cause ignition on the application of an external source of flame applied in a standard manner.
