This European Standard specifies the requirements and/or measures to remove the hazards and limit the risk on manually loaded and/or unloaded horizontal beam panel saws and vertical panel saws hereinafter referred to as "machines", designed to cut solid wood, chipboard, fibreboard, plywood and also these materials where they are covered with plastic edgings and/or plastic/light alloy laminates.
