NES 1012 (Requirements for Master Record Indexes (MRIs)) requires a PFL to be prepared as part of the MRI for NAS. This Defence Standard provides information, guidance and specific requirements for the preparation, presentation, arrangement and drafting of PFLs for NAS.
Wherever practicable, examples are provided to illustrate particular requirements, but because of the wide range of NAS to which this applies, some flexibility in drafting is allowed.
