scope:

Reference (a) provides planning criteria for determining the requirements for shore based facilities needed to support Fleet and Marine Corps Operations. In addition, these criteria are used to evaluate the adequacy of existing facilities, to identify facility deficiencies or excesses, and to validate construction project submittals. This directive establishes SPAWAR policy governing office space management, furniture management, parking, emergency trouble calls, temperature trouble calls, and telephone management aboard the Old Town Campus (OTC). Emergency Preparedness and Disaster Response are covered by separate SPAWAR HQ instructions. NMCI procedures for moving computers and related devices are not covered in this instruction.

Applicability. This instruction applies to all personnel assigned to SPAWAR Headquarters Old Towne Campus (OTC). This includes all military and civilian personnel, and all contractors and personnel of other agencies and businesses that operate in SPAWAR Headquarters facilities.
