This specification covers the requirements for three types of axial accelerometer transmitters.

Transmitters shall be of the following types, as specified (see 6.2):

TRU-106/A-1 Senses normal acceleration TRU-106/A-2 Senses normal acceleration TRU-107/A Senses transverse acceleration

intended Use:

The axial accelerometer transmitters covered by this specification are intended for use on aircraft in conjunction with signal data recorders conforming to MIL-R-83165.
