This specification relates to a film of pressure-sensitive adhesive coated on to a release paper.

The material may be used, as supplied, to provide a double sided adhesive layer, and may be used also as a single sided adhesive when applied to suitable backing materials.

The designation 'Type QX' indicates that the material is suitable for certain applications where a high degree of compatibility with explosives is a requirement. However, compatibility with all explosives in all environments has not been established, and Design Authorities should seek advice from the Director, Explosives Research and Development Establishment, Waltham Abbey, Essex, on particular applications.
