This specification covers one type of panoramic telescope which provides four-power magnification and a ten-degree field of view. It is equipped with numerical counters which indicate deflection settings and corrections. A resettable counter provides angular readings from a reference point. The reticle pattern and the counter numerals are radioactively illuminated.
intended Use:
- The Panoramic Telescope: M113E1 is primarily intended to lay artillery weapons in indirect fire. This telescope can also be used for direct fire in azimuth.
