This instruction emphasizes safety and applies to all Navy P3 training and operations conducted by the U.S. Navy. Aircrew survival equipment, systems, training, and operations are not addressed in this instruction. This instruction is not applicable to Marine Corps parachutists or U.S. Navy personnel assigned to Marine Corps units. Marine Corps personnel are guided by the policies set forth in Marine Corps Order 3500.20.
