PURPOSE
This chapter provides Department of Defense (DOD) policy, procedures, and guidance for the deployment, sustainment, and redeployment of personnel, cargo, and equipment via all modes of transportation. Mobility includes passengers, cargo, and equipment moving in the Defense Transportation System (DTS) in either a constrained or unconstrained environment.
APPLICABILITY
This chapter applies to all DOD components requiring mobility movement of personnel, cargo, and equipment within the DTS.
