SCOPE AND FIELD OF APPLICATION
This International Standard specifies thread run-outs for fasteners with thread in accordance with ISO 261, /SO general purpose metric screw threads - General plan, and with ISO 262, ISO general purpose metric screw threads - Selected sizes for screws, bolts and nuts.
It does not apply to those threaded fasteners where special requirements are laid down in the product standards.
