scope:
This specification covers the general requirements for waveguide switches, either manually or electromechanically operated, designed to connect and disconnect one or more waveguide sections to other waveguide sections. Detail requirements and specific characteristics of switches shall be specified in the applicable specification sheet.
The military part number shall consist of the letter "M", the basic number of the specification sheet, an assigned dash number (see 3.1), and the letter N or S; where N indicates a nonscreened item and S indicates a screened item.
