This Part of the Naval Engineering Standard (NES) specifies the performance, design, installation and acceptance requirements for fixed high pressure total flooding CO2 firefighting systems in main auxiliary and other compartments as may be defined in the procurement specification for major HM Surface Ships.
NOTE: The general principle of this NES may also be applied to the machinery spaces of minor surface warships.
