scope:
This specification covers the requirements for a nylon taffeta cloth suitable both as a base fabric without coating or for coating with chloroprene rubber or other type coatings.
The cloth shall be of the following types as specified (see 6.2):
Type I - 1.2 oz/yd2 (41g/m2) Type II - 1.5 oz/yd2 (51g/m2) Type III - 2.0 oz/yd2 (68g/m2) Class 1 - Plain finish Class 2 - Water repellent treated Type IV - 1.9 oz/yd2 (64g/m2)
