This Defence Standard specifies the requirements for one grade of multi-purpose grease for the lubrication of gearboxes, anti-friction bearings, plain bearings, and other mechanisms over the temperature range minus 30°C to plus 140°C and where satisfactory performance in the presence of water is required.
