This specification covers the requirements and inspections for the M88A1 armored, full-tracked, rear sprocket driven recovery vehicles, both new and overhauled.
Vehicles covered by this specification shall be of the following grades:
Grade A - New Vehicles. Grade B - Overhaul Vehicles.
