This specification covers the detail requirements for a germanium gold bonded semiconductor diode. Three levels of product assurance are provided for each device type as specified in MIL-S-19500.

The diode shall have the following salient characteristics at ambient temperature of 25°C ±3°C, unless otherwise specified.
