Purpose
The purpose of these Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) is to give guidance to Operational Commanders, Tactical Commanders and to individual units, in the:
a. Establishment, entry into, operation, alteration, exit from and termination of a data Link 11 net.
b. Commencement, maintenance and termination of Link 11B communications.
c. Establishment and operations of associated voice control circuits.
