scope:

Purpose. To provide policy, procedures, and assignment of responsibility for administration of civilian cash awards for beneficial suggestions and inventions. This instruction also establishes policy, procedures, and assignment of responsibility for administration of comments/questions posted on the SPAWAR Knowledge Center (SKC) under Feedback Forum.

Applicability. This instruction applies to the processing of official beneficial suggestions and inventions awards by Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) headquarters and processing of comments/questions via the Feedback Forum. References (a) through (d) authorize SPAWAR activities to establish their own Incentive Awards Programs, which must include suggestions.
