This Part of the Naval Engineering Standard (NES) defines the Specific Requirements f o r the design and fitting out of Workshops, Maintenance Spaces and Engineers Stores in HM Surface Ships.
The Comnon Requirements are defined in Part 1 of this NES.
This NES does not cover the requirements for Aviation Workshops and Maintenance Spaces which are detailed in NES 1032.
