This specification covers the requirements for a complete Rotating Beam Ceilometer System. This system provides an instrumentally derived value for the measurement of cloud heights at airports and indicates these values at a remote location. The system includes a detector, projector, mirror, transformer (constant voltage), indicator and recorder with the recorder being optional.
