scope:
This specification defines the operational performance and technical requirements of a group of modular components which when properly configured will provide a Data Terminal Equipment (DTE) Set. This set will provide the full capability necessary for an operator to prepare, display, transmit, and receive messages over a data communication network of the FAA and will be suitable for continuous operation.
