ESDU - Lift-curve slope of swept and tapered wings.

Organization: ESDU
Publication Date: 1 October 1989
Page Count: 5
scope:

ESDU Aero W.01.01.01 has been superseded by ESDU 70011, which presents graphs of correlated lifting-surface theory results, but is retained in the Series because values from it must be used when obtaining lift-dependent drag of plane, symmetric-section wings using ESDU 66032 and in evaluating the wing dihedral contribution to the rolling moment in sideslip using ESDU Aero A.06.01.03 and ESDU Aero A.06.01.09. Otherwise ESDU 70011 should always be used to evaluate the lift-curve slope for swept and tapered wings at subsonic speeds.
