1.0 SCOPE

This specification covers the Corporation's requirements for those electrodeposited cadmium coatings which may be specified on existing Engineering drawings or in the Standard Parts Books. WARNING: Cadmium plating should not be specified where it may come in contact with food. Cadmium plated parts must not be welded, soldered or otherwise strongly heated without adequate ventilation.
