This book is a guide to modern ammonia refrigeration piping, a comprehensive introduction to ammonia piping as it is practiced in the field. Chapters 1, 2, 6, and 7 are significantly revised to reflect modern practices, current codes and standards, and to correct errata:
- Chapter 1 - improved clarity, enhanced tables, improved guidance on defrost relief piping and thermosyphon oil cooler piping, expanded range of temperatures and pipe sizes for the flooded systems table, and updated steel pipe data table reflecting recent code changes.
- Chapter 2 - improved organization, new sections on impact testing, tubing materials and sealants, and product marking, and revised to reflect code changes.
- Chapter 6 - updated to reflect changes in model codes with regard to relief valve discharge piping and edited to improve clarity.
- Chapter 7 - revised tables reflect refined assumptions for insulation application. You may purchase just the updated chapters, or a complete, new handbook that includes the revisions.
