The aim of this agreement is to establish minimal evaluation standards for survival suits concerning the physiological (protective) and physical (strength, volume, water permeability) requirements, compatibility with operational tasks, interaction with other survival equipment, environmental factors and guidelines for abandoning ship procedures and onboard life rafts.
