This part of the standard applies to manifold pressure regulators and line pressure regulators intended for the supply of pipeline systems for the following medical gases: Oxygen; nitrous oxide; air for breathing; carbon dioxide; oxygen/nitrous oxide mixture (50/50% (v/v)); air for driving surgical tools; nitrogen for driving surgical tools. This Standard does not apply to pressure regulators for use with suction services.
