This specification covers the requirements for one type of airborne, personnel, distress signal kit that is designated A/P25S-5A and that consists of a hand-fired launcher and of a bandoleer assembly containing seven, red signals (see 3.2.1 and 6.2). This specification also covers the requirements for spare bandoleer assemblies containing red, green, or white signals as specified (see 3.2.2 and 6.2).
