This specification covers requirements for a musician's scarlet, wool, full dress coat.

The coat will be of one type in the following sizes, as specified (see 6.2):

When the coat is custom tailored to an individual order, this specification will govern, except the detailed requirements of Section 3, Table I, may be modified to the extent necessary for good custom tailoring practice.

The coats described herein are intended for wear by enlisted male personnel of the U.S. Marine Corps Band.
