This document establishes the requirements and test procedures for the procurement of an electronic digital multiplexer module.

The following electrical parameters reflect the 0° to 60°C and −55° to 100°C end-of-life limits from table II.

This module contains two quad and one dual two input multiplexers. Each multiplexer receives two input data lines (DU, D1), an enable input ([E bar]), and a select input (S). The data is transferred to the output (Y) when the input enable ([E bar]) is low. Input DO is selected when the select input (S) is low.

Each multiplexer has the input to output relationship of table I for positive logic. TABLE I. Input to output relationship for each multiplexer.

Enable Select Inputs Output input ------------------------------------------- E S D0 D1 Y H X X X L L H X L L L H X H H L L L X L L L H X H 1/ H = high-voltage level. 2/ L = low-voltage level. 3/ X = don't care.

Paralleling of outputs is not permissible.

The module has the following characteristics.

When connected in the worst case mode of operation (all but one gate switching simultaneously from a high level to a low level) the KDC module could exhibit substantial crosstalk. When the quiet output is a low level, there may be as much as a 1,000 mV positive going spike coincident with the negative edge of the switching output.

Circuits 5 through 10 can induce as much as 400 mV of noise onto any circuit 1 through 4 output. Circuits 1 through 4, 9, and 10 can induce as much as 400 mV of noise onto any circuit 5 through 8 output. Circuits 1 through 8 can induce as much as 400 mV of noise onto any circuit 9 and 10 output.
