Purpose. GM requires its production/design suppliers to adopt GM's commitment to quality and expects the suppliers to conform to GM processes, policies and procedures. This portion of the Statement of Requirements (SOR) describes the minimum dimensional requirements/tasks that the awarded supplier is expected to perform.
Applicability. GM requires its production suppliers to adopt GM's philosophy of total commitment to quality and expects the supplier to meet or exceed the standard of 100% conformance to GM processes, policies, and procedures.
