This standard will be applicable for specifying test equipment for measuring the analog transmission parameters of subscriber loops, message network trunks, PBX trunks and tie lines, and the analog transmission parameters of digital subscriber lines. Techniques are speciÞed for measuring parameters not previously measurable.
Purpose
The purpose of this standard is to establish measurement techniques for analog transmission parameters for telecommunications services, and to establish requirements for test equipment used at analog and digital appearances.
