This clause of Part 1 is applicable, except as follows: Addition: This part of IEC 62841 applies to hand-held circular saws, which hereinafter will be referred to as saws. This standard does not apply to saws designed for use with abrasive wheels. NOTE 101 Saws designed for use with abrasive wheels as cut-off machines are covered by IEC 62841-2-22.
