This STANAG defines and provides an overview of the policy drivers, threat, limitations and the strategic and operational contexts in which the MWD capability will be developed.
Aim
The aims of the STANAG are to provide nations with a useful framework and guidance for the approach known as MWD on allied joint operations, and to define MWD capability and provide guidance for Commanders and General Staff Officers at O-3 and O-4 level.
