Purpose. The purpose of this test is to evaluate the performance of the washer reservoir level sensor on a component level.

Applicability. This standard is applicable for all car, Multipurpose Passenger Vehicle (MPV), and truck models produced by GM Worldwide with a level sensor in the washer system reservoir.

Remarks.

• This document is intended to test performance requirements of a wiper washer reservoir level sensor under environmental conditions.

• This document and any suggestions or revisions will be reviewed and/or updated annually by the Wiper and Wash Systems Global Subsystem Leadership Team (GSSLT).

• This procedure is a component level test. A vehicle level test is required for validation.
