QUALIFIED PRODUCT LIST OF PRODUCTS QUALIFIED UNDER PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATION MIL-P-22332 PAINT, PRIMING, EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR (FOR AMMUNITION)
This QPL has been prepared for use by the Government in the acquisition of products covered by the subject specification and inclusion of a product is not intended to and does not connote endorsement of the product by the Department of Defense. All products included herein have been qualified under the requirements of the product as specified in the latest effective issue of the applicable specification. This QPL is updated as necessary and is subject to change without notice. Inclusion of a product does not release or otherwise affect the obligation of the manufacturer to comply with the specification requirements.
The activity responsible for this QPL is US ARMY Armaments Research, Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC), AMSRD-AAR-QES-E, Picatinny Arsenal NJ 07806-5000.
There are currently no products qualified to either COMPOSITION G OR COMPOSITION L requirements. MIL-P-22332B(1) will be amended to remove the qualification requirement in the near future.
There are currently no qualified sources for priming paint for
ammunition, either Composition G or Composition L, as specified in
MIL-P-22332. Evaluation of the continuing requirement for this
material is underway and will be concluded shortly, at which time
new sources will be sought, or the specification cancelled. For
