SUMMARY: This document denies a petition for reconsideration of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 305, ''Electric-powered vehicles; electrolyte spillage, and electrical shock protection'' from Nissan Motor Company (Nissan) requesting the use of a megohmmeter as an alternative measurement method for the electrical isolation test procedure.
