This commercial item description covers the general requirements for a battery powered, order selector, high lift rider (as defined by ANSI/ITSDF B56.1) industrial type, forklift truck. The truck will be Type E, unless otherwise specified as Type EE (see 6.3), in accordance with UL 583. The trucks are intended for stacking, unstacking, and moving cargo in and around commissary warehouses; also for moving cargo in and out of highway trailers and railroad cars.
